FAQ FOR SINGLE PIECES ...
HOW I KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS ME TO MAKE A PIECE THAT I PRETEND, BUT THAT I DO NOT MEET THE MARKET. CAN CRAFT STUDIO MAKE ME THIS PART?
If you wish to make a telephone contact with the studio describing it as thoroughly as possible, you can then be informed whether or not it can be done by the studio, and if so, you should then complete the form on the first page of the workshop website by making the same description of the piece (in detail and in the same way as you did via phone) and indicate the material / materials in which you want it to be produced (budgets are only made up to two different material options) and within 4 business days, the budget for this part is sent to the customer by email. For the confirmation and production of the same, the customer must send an email response to the budget submitted and indicate the option selected and express interest in the production of the piece. You will be sent an email with all the information of the order as well as the data for payment and only after receipt of proof of payment will be started production of the same. The production period will always be referred to in the budget (varies depending on the complexity of the part), the need for some material / component that are necessary to acquire for the production of the respective piece.
I WANT TO MAKE A PIECE (ALBUM, BOX, FRAME, ETC., ETC.) WITH AN OLD FABRIC THAT I HAVE (EX. WEDDING DRESS, CASTELO BRANCO MATTRESS, ANTIQUE SILK), CAN YOU MAKE ME THAT PIECE WITH THAT MATERIAL THAT DO I HAVE AND WANT TO USE IN THE PRODUCTION?
In principle there should be no impediment to this, but the studio will always have access to the prior material in order to be able to evaluate the material so that it can elaborate the budget of the production of that piece taking into account the material with which it will have to work (for see if it is compatible with the materials of support, glues and other things) to ensure that the piece is with the quality of work that is usual of the craft studio. There will always be a budget for the production of this piece. For the adjudication and production of this piece, the customer must send a response email to the budget submitted and indicate the interest in the production of the part. You will be sent an email with all the information of the order as well as the data for payment and only after receipt of proof of payment will be started production of the same. The production period will always be referred to in the budget (it varies depending on the complexity of the piece, the need for some material / component that needs to be acquired for the production of the respective piece or even more time, by the force of being working with a material that is not part of the craft studio portfolio).
I HAVE AN ARK / ARCAZ OR ANY OTHER MOBILE OR ANTIQUE PIECE AND I WANT TO RENEW IT, CAN THE CRAFT STUDIO MAKE ME THIS SERVICE AND GIVE YOU A NEW UTILITY TO THE SAME?
Yes, the ark will first have to be assessed its status and what the future use of the same so that the best solution can be presented to the customer. After the client gives the explanation what function you want this part to play in the future after it has been restored. After this explanation the craft studio will give you ideas on how to renew it and what is the best material / materials option to achieve the client's goals. Afterwards you will be presented with the budget for the recovery and reconversion of the part and with all the characteristics that the client requested. When the client receives the budget and intends to award the work, he / she must send a response email to the budget sent and indicate the interest in the production of the piece. You will be sent an email with all the information of the order as well as the data for payment and only after receiving the proof of payment will be initiated the repair / adaptation of it. The repair / adaptation period will always be mentioned in the budget (it varies depending on the complexity of the part, the need for some material / component that need to be acquired for the production of the respective part or even more time).
I HAVE A PIECE THAT I BUILT IN THE PAST, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE ANOTHER SAME AS THAT ONE, DOES THE CRAFT STUDIO CAN DO ME THE SAME?
It depends on what kind of piece you are talking about; depends on whether it can be made with the base materials that the studio works on (usually the base material of all studio works is the gray card with 3mm) and whether it can be done manually. There are pieces that, due to their complexity, cannot be made manually. In this case, the craft studio will inform the client about this situation and indicate the best solution to get what you want.
